This workshop offers a rare opportunity to delve deeply into your sense of self
– a way to understand your habits of organization, and appreciate how varied your options really are. The process can be all-absorbing – the location and format both support this. With awareness of how your skeleton works,
one part with the others, you generate the ability to respond efficiently to the many stimuli and responses of walking. And walking gets easier and lighter.
We work in the Village Hall.
Doing a lot of movement on the floor takes us out of the usual gravitational pull. The development of awareness generates a resource which continues to be actively available to continue change after the course.
Dartmoor is just outside the door of our workroom,
so there is plenty of opportunity to explore the changes you have made. Many participants enjoy walking on the moor or by the river. There is a lovely swimming place just 15 minutes walk away. You will find most benefit if you completely clear this week, and give yourself the freedom to do more or less as you wish.
