To be sure of your back is to feel basic strength in your life.

In this workshop we will pay attention to movements which informed the development of the back – its ability to maintain flexibility and strength, its rotation, bending and arching. By revisiting early processes, like crawling and learning to lift the head, we can relearn, so that we do better what we need to do now.

Through engaging the curiosity and the exploring mind of childhood (when play was our work) we can find a wider range of possibilities of movement.

As a result your back can move with more efficiency – finding ways around difficulties and more elegant solutions to everyday problems. It is also enriching to pay attention in this particular way, to widen your on-going learning abilities, and fill out your sense of self.
